We are sorry we missed these off our website, but we have completed two further charity giveaways and also announced our 4th!
We are thrilled to announce that with your help, we raised an amazing £4,031 for Cash for Kids between 1st October 2018 and 31st December 2018. We also raised a staggering £4,227 for Carlisle Youth Zone between 1st January 2019 and 31st March 2019
These donation would not be possible without each and every one of our customers, and also all those who follow us and voted in the poll. From Rick and all here at North West Recycling and Brampton Skip Hire Ltd we would like to say a massive thank you.
Owner Rick Allan said: I am happy to support such a great cause. Kids are the future and rely on us as adults to help and guide them through life. Unfortunately, some children are suffering; and that is outrageous in this day and age! I hope this money can give some happiness to some less fortunate kids.
This money will help CFM Cash for Kids support disabled and disadvantaged children throughout Cumbria and South West Scotland, and Carlisle Youth Zone to helping over 1,200 young people from across the City every week. It’s a safe and fun place where the potential of any young person is developed and fulfilled.
Our 4th Charity donation will be a little bit different...
We have selected 1 charity to receive £1 for every skip we deliver or exchange from 1st April 2019- 30th June 2019.
That charity is... Teenage Cancer Trust
Owner Rick Allan said: It seems all families are now affected in some way shape or form by cancer.I have taken a slightly different approach this quarter and pledged all the money raised between April, May & June to a charity that I believe is an amazing help to young people facing cancer.‘The Teenage Cancer Trust’ specifically supports young people who are going through a time in their lives that is difficult enough without having to fight this horrible disease.
Young people with cancer need specialised nursing and emotional support. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity meeting this critical need.Right now, we are unable to reach every young person. North West Recycling’s support over the next few months is key to enable us to get one step nearer in supporting every young person across the region and beyond.
We've already raised £1,735 since 1st April 2019, so we've made a great start!
