HGV Tipper Driver Job Description
Location: Cumbria, South west Scotland and Northumberland
Reports To: Transport Manager
Job Type: Full-Time

North West Recycling is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Tipper Driver to join our growing team. We operate across Cumbria and South West Scotland, delivering and collecting aggregates, recycled materials, and muck away from various construction and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of an 8 wheel tipper vehicle
- Driving and controlling heavy tipper trucks to move, load, and unload materials (aggregates, spoil, muck).
- Delivery and collection of aggregates and recycled materials
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining tachograph records
- Representing North West Recycling in a professional manner on site
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 & 2 licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tipper experience preferred
- Grab experience desirable
- Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Professional attitude with site managers and customers
