Spot our Skip to Win – Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter

The Spot our Skip to Win competition is promoted by North West Recycling (NWR), registered in the UK, with a registered address at Unit A, Kingmoor Park, Rockcliffe Estate, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 4RW.

  1. Eligibility
  • Open to residents of UK aged 18 or over.
  • Employees of NWR and their immediate family members are excluded.
  • By entering, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
  1. How to Enter
  • Submit a photograph of the Talkin Tarn NWR skip via the online entry form at www.nwrecycling.co.uk
  • No purchase is necessary.
  • One entry per person per week.
  • Entries must include valid contact details so that winners can be contacted.
  1. Competition Structure
  • The competition runs from the 24th July to 31st August 2026.
  • The Talkin Tarn Skip will be moved around the area, one new location each week.
  • Each week, one winner will be selected.
  • Entrants must enter each week to be eligible for that weeks prize. Previous weeks entries DO NOT rollover.
  • Entrants must enter the Grand Finale Prize week to win that week. Previous submissions WILL NOT be rolled over.
  1. Photo Ownership & Rights
  • The photo submitted must clearly display the location of the skip.
  • You must be the original photographer or have permission to submit the photo.
  • The photo must not infringe the rights of any third party.
  • By entering, you grant NWL permission to use the photo in accordance with the Photo Usage Explanation.
  • NWR reserves the right to reject entries that are unsuitable, incomplete, misleading, or do not meet these Terms & Conditions.
  1. Winner Selection
  • Entries will be entered into a random draw and winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.
  • Each eligible entry will have an equal chance of being selected.
  • All draws are final.
  1. Prizes
  • Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
  • No cash alternative will be offered.
  • NWR reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value where necessary.
  1. Winner Notification
  • Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided.
  • If a winner does not respond within 3 days, NWR reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided, NWR reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  1. Publicity
  • By entering the competition, entrants acknowledge that, if selected as a winner, NWR may request reasonable participation in publicity relating to the Spot our Skip to Win competition, including being photographed or filmed with their prize.
  • Photographs, videos, and other content created as part of the prize presentation may be used by NWR to promote the competition, including on its website, social media channels, and other competition-related promotional materials.
  1. Marketing Communications
  • Entering the competition does not automatically subscribe entrants to marketing communications from NWR.
  • Entrants may choose to opt in to receive marketing communications by selecting the relevant checkbox on the entry form.
  • Marketing preferences can be withdrawn at any time.
  1. Liability
  • NWR accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, corrupted, or incomplete due to technical issues or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
  1. General
  • NWR reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary.
  • NWR reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms & Conditions or attempts to manipulate the competition.
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
