Carlisle Youth Zone – NWR Charity Fund Update

It’s been 6 months since we started supporting the Carlisle Youth Zone through our £1 per skip charity campaign.

We are thrilled to share that so far our charity campaign, by which we donate £1 to charity for every skip hired, has raised a whopping £7,674 so far for our chosen charity, the Carlisle Youth Zone.

The Youth Zone is a state of the art purpose built facility. It is open 6 nights a week to support local children. It’s a safe space where the potential of any young person is developed and fulfilled. Packed with engaging and fun activities. These are the hooks that paves the way to deliver targeted work to the most vulnerable young people. The aim is to improve young people’s confidence, build self-esteem, reduce isolation, and raise aspirations.

Emma Rogerson, Development Coordinator at Carlisle Youth Zone said. “We are so grateful to Rick Allan and the team at North West Recycling for the kindness and generosity. A donation of this magnitude really does make a massive difference. Both to us a charity and to the lives of local children. As a charity we rely on the generosity of people and local businesses who support CYZ via fundraising or by making regular donations. We are delighted to welcome North West Recycling to the Youth Zone’s network of businesses. They have all stepped up to support Carlisle’s young people”.
